RoHS Compliant Chemical Conversion Coatings
We offer two types of chemical conversion coatings to meet your specific needs. One is clear in colour and meets the RoHS guidelines. As such it complies with the requirements of the European Union directive for banned substances and therefore does not contain hexavalent chromium, mercury, cadmium, lead and/or other banned substances. We also offer non-RoHS compliant coatings which are gold in colour and do contain hexavalent chromium.
Currently, despite testing and research, we do not offer a chemical conversion coating which is both RoHS compliant and gold in colour. If you require a gold coloured chemical conversion coating, you must specify a non-RoHS compliant hexavalent chromium coating.
