Anodizing
Anodizing is a multi-step process where aluminum is electrochemically processed to form a layer of aluminum oxide (anodic) coating to protect the aluminum beneath.
This aluminum oxide is not applied to the surface like paint, but is fully integrated with the underlying aluminum substrate, so it cannot chip or peel.
Anodizing also has a highly porous structure that allows for cosmetic processes. such as coloring and sealing, to take place during the anodizing process.
Conversion Coating
Chemical conversion coating (also known as chemical film, chromate conversion coatings, chromating, alodine and alodining) provides economical corrosion protection and a superb surface for painting and powder coating aluminum parts.
Unlike anodizing, which creates a non-conductive coating, chemical conversion coatings provide a low electrical resistance and preserve the electric conductivity of your aluminum parts.
Chemical conversion coatings also do not require electricity and therefore are more economical.
Laser Etching
Laser etching, also know as laser marking or laser engraving, is a versatile, permanent marking system that may be done on a wide variety of materials. These include raw metals, anodized aluminum, stainless steel, titanium and plastics.
With our specialized Yag and Fibermark laser machines we can engrave long lasting, highly precise markings that will not wear off in harsh environments. This ability makes the accurate reproduction of logos, texts, bar codes, serial numbers and other customized graphics simple and long-lasting.
Screen Printing
Screen printing is a versatile and durable way to have your graphics, text, and other information applied to an assortment of materials.
We specialize in screen printing on anodized aluminum and power coated metals but can also print on a variety of other materials such as glass, rubber, acrylic and paper.
Our graphic designers can replicate any desired graphics or create an entirely new design for you.
